Electricity races across your body, shedding bright light in a 6m radius and dim light for an additional 6m for the spell's duration. The electricity doesn't harm you. Until the spell ends, you gain the following benefits:
- You Absorb Lightning damage.
- Any creature that makes a melee attack against you takes 1d10 Lightning damage. Furthermore, you can use your reaction when this happens to emit a powerful blast of thunder centred at your location, audible out to 100m. All other creatures within 6m of you must make a
Constitution saving throw, taking 3d6 Sonic damage. On a failed save, they are also pushed 4m away from you.
- You gain a flying speed of 14m. If you are still flying when the spell ends, you float gently to the ground.
- You gain a +3 bonus to your Initiative rolls.
- You can use your bonus action to create a bolt of lightning 20m long and 1m wide extending from your outstretched fingertips. The lightning can be whatever colour you choose. Each creature in the Line must make a
Dexterity saving throw, taking 3d8 Lightning damage. On a failed save, they are also set
.
The Lightning damage is increased by 1d8 if you absorbed any Lightning damage since the start of your last turn.
During this spell's duration, you can toggle this effect on and off as an action. You can only have the effect of one Investiture spell at a time. Casting another one ends the effect of the current one.
